Dr. David Bosshart is CEO of one of Europe’s leading think tanks. He is a frequent speaker at events in Europe, the USA, Latin America and Asia. His work and research focuses on megatrends and countertrends, the future of consumption, management, social change and globalization.
The Italian former referee was chosen as the ‘World’s Best Referee’ for six years running (1998-2003). His career highlights include the 1995 Olympic Games, the final of the 2002 World Cup and the 2004 Euros. He has been the chair of the UEFA Referees Committee since 2010. Collina is a sought-after expert on questions of leadership, motivation and decision-making under pressure.
He is the leading thinker and teacher in the field of „Successful Multi-Unit Restaurant Management“. His research has focused on chain-restaurant organization, development and growth and the training of multi-unit managers. Chris has lectured on these topics throughout the world. Book publication „The Leader of Managers“.
A graduate of ESSEC business school (MBA) , Jérôme Tafani began his career at auditing and consulting firm Deloitte. He then held a number of executive management roles at Econocom and Randstad (Vedior/BIS), joining McDonald’s France in 1996 as CFO, then extended his scope of responsibilities up to a variety of departments, including development, franchises, procurement and Company Owned Restaurants, before becoming General Manager.
He was then promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President of McDonald’s Europe (2009). In late 2014, he became Executive Director of Chipotle Europe. On February 2016, Jérôme Tafani was appointed CEO of BURGER KING® FRANCE & QUICK.
Gretel Weiss is co-founder and Publisher of the two leading trade magazines – food-service (since 1982) and FoodService Europe & Middle East (since 1998). She is a recognized expert with insider knowledge of the chain-restaurant industry. Her background is farming, university degrees in Nutritional Science and Economics.
